GRANT HIGH FOOTBALL TEAM REUNION
Although none of the the coaches who participated in the success of the 1963-64 State Champion Football Team (Frank Buckiewicz, Vern Butts, Darrel "Mouse" Davis, Dick Hennessey, Bob Shewbert, and Frank Wolf) were able to attend the reunion at Kennedy School on August 9, 2013, they were all remembered.
For the team members, this was a special occasion not only because of their very successful season but also because they are the last team from Grant to have secured the state title. Team members had a good afternoon reacquainting and reminiscing fifty years later.
